Temi Tea
Tea production in this estate has been switched over from the conventional method to the 'Organic Method' according to the guidelines of the Institute of Marketecology (IMO) of Switzerland. This conversion initiated in 2005 is reported to have been completed. The changeover has involved the use of organic bio-fertilisers such as cattle manure, neem cakes and vermin-composite manure replacing the chemical fertilisers used in the past.

How to make great tea?
Like all good things in life, it takes a little effort to bring out the best in Temi tea. Just follow these simple steps for that truly special brew:-Boil fresh water, and make sure it's not overboiled.
Warm the teapot (preferably earthenware) by rinsing it with hot water and emptying it before putting dry tea in it.
The thumb rule is, to put one teaspoonful of dry tea for each person and add one to the pot.
Pour the freshly boiled water into the pot about one cupful for every cup you need.
Let it brew for 3-4 minutes, then pour into cups, sugar and milk to taste.
There, you have the perfect recipe for good times. Enjoy!
